The Refuge

Le Refuge in Achouffe - The place where you can take a few days to recover from the busy life and recharge in our fully renovated gîte with all modern comforts.

We love wood and have chosen to emphasize this in Le Refuge. Each room has its own personal touch, ranging from mushroom wood to wood from old mountain huts and barns.

In the Refuge, you can enjoy a Chouffe by a crackling fireplace, a long conversation with friends or family at our central kitchen island, a BBQ on the terrace, a wood fire in our large enclosed garden, or simply escape with a beautiful walk in our lovely hamlet and its many trails, a ride on electric scooters, or a visit to the Brewery followed by a tasting.

Le Refuge, located in Achouffe with a beautiful view of the Brewery, just a few kilometers from Houffalize, the ski slopes of Baraque de Fraiture, the nature reserve Les Tailles with the beautiful Sacrawé walk, and the starting point for many kilometers of beautiful walks and mountain biking tours, as well as the historic city of Bastogne and the "Mardasson".
